Are you looking for a game-changing solution to get rid of your stubborn body fat? Liposuction is one of the most popular noninvasive cosmetic surgery procedures that can help reduce areas with excess fat deposits. It’s ideal for those who are at or near their ideal weight but have localised fat build-up in certain areas. Learn all about liposuction, including what it does and doesn’t do, and see why so many women have achieved amazing transformations after getting liposuction.
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses suction to remove fat from specific areas of the body, most usually the stomach/abdomen, but also the hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes these areas of the body and is common for both men and women.
Below are some liposuction before and after photos from Dr Shagun Aggarwal’s patients, which is one of Mode Plastic Surgery’s most common procedures.

This patient came to see Dr Aggarwal concerned about his abdominal region after all attempts at exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle would not budge stubborn abdominal fat.
This was performed under general anaesthetic and the patient was discharged the same day. He was then required to wear a compression garment for several weeks, and the swelling and bruising is the worst in the first 1-2 weeks.
His appearance now reflects his healthy lifestyle.
A great medical application of liposuction is buffalo hump reduction. Sometimes this can be a side effect of long term corticosteroid use, or many times it occurs without a specific cause. Patients can find this a difficult problem to deal with, as it is difficult to hide in clothing.
This patient of ours underwent Ultrasonic Liposuction to reduce the size of her buffalo hump. Ultrasonic liposuction (as opposed to standard liposuction) was used here to break up the very dense tissue that is typical of these lumps (the density of the tissue makes it hard to suck out with standard liposuction).
Believe or not, this photo was taken 2 weeks post operation, and the bruising already looks remarkably better than what it initially was! Extensive bruising and swelling is quite common in Liposuction procedures, but we will be showing off another photo of this patient that we took 4 weeks after the surgery, and you’ll see how the bruising disappears.
