Dr Neha Aggarwala, Anaesthetist
Dr Neha Aggarwala is a Specialist Anaesthetist at Westmead Public Hospital as well as multiple private hospitals including Sydney Adventist Hospital, SAN Day Surgery, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Castlecrag Private, Hunters Hill Private, Prince of Wales Private and St George Private Hospitals.
As a fully accredited fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), Dr Aggarwala completed her anaesthetic training at Westmead Hospital and subsequently undertook subspecialty training in neuroanaesthesia at the prestigious University of Toronto, Canada.
She regularly anaesthetises for Mode Plastic Surgery with her warm, friendly, and personable nature being welcomed by our patients.
Michaela Andrew, Medical Secretary & Administrative Assistant
Michaela has worked in various industries over the last 20 years, and joins Mode Plastic Surgery after spending the last 8 years working in the aesthetic and healthcare industry.
We welcome her experience and passion to continue to work in the aesthetic space, and learn about all the surgical and non surgical procedures that Mode has to offer.
She delivers the best customer service and patient care with a strong work ethic. Her attention to detail and organisation skills are an asset to Mode Plastic Surgery.
Liza Gibson-Smith, Medical Secretary & Administrative Assistant
When it comes to top notch customer service, Liza has mastered this by having worked as a training and event coordinator as well as Practice Administrator at psychology clinic.
At Mode Plastic Surgery Liza combines her two passions – patient care, and top notch customer service.
Liza is a warm, personable person who is meticulous, well organised and delivers all round care to our patients.
She likes advising patients on improving skin issues in a gentle and natural way at home using the best cosmeceutical products. She likes recommending skincare use for the treatment of fine lines, pigmentation, sensitivity, anti ageing and brightening.
Karyn Thomas, Practice Nurse
Karyn is our practice nurse – and joined Mode Plastic Surgery in 2019 after previously working in another reputable cosmetic clinic.
She is an experienced registered nurse and continues to work at the Sydney Adventist Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit.
We love Karyn’s ICU background as we know that the safety of our patients is well looked after.
Alongside being a very experienced nurse and looking after our patients post-operatively, Karyn is a well trained and experienced cosmetic injector.
She has a very patient-centric approach and enjoys face design, focusing on symmetry, harmony and balance. Karyn likes to create natural and beautiful results at exactly the level the patient wants. Her kind and nurturing nature makes her very popular with patients who are new to injectables or who are anxious about injectable procedures.
Furthermore Karyn has a wealth of information regarding skin care, chemical peels, hydrafacial and all things non surgical.

Dr Aggarwal is a well regarded, respected, highly skilled and experienced Specialist Plastic Surgeon. Graduating at the top of his class throughout his training, Dr Aggarwal has completed fellowship training at some of the world’s most prestigious reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery institutions. He continues to publish research is prestigious plastic surgery journals, and is actively involved in the training of future plastic surgeons.
What sets Dr Aggarwal apart from others is his personal, affable and warm nature. Not only does he pay attention to detail, to producing natural, beautiful results but he ensures that the patient’s journey is just as special as their outcome. Dr Aggarwal looks after patients at one of Sydney's most prestigious public hospital campuses (POWH/SCH/RHW), and operates privately on the North Shore.
