What is Bio-remodeller?
Bio-remodeller is made of a high concentration of a carbohydrate called hyaluron that is naturally present in the skin but declines with age. It promotes skin hydration and collagen formation. Bio-remodeller has a unique formulation which is free of additives. Its consistency is such that allows it to evenly spread through the skin tissues and underlying structures forming a hydrating layer as well as stimulating cell production including collagen and elastin.
What is it used for?
Bio-remodelling is used to treat skin laxity and to help remodel ageing, sagging and crepey skin. It hydrates the skin and is shown to have a
stimulatory effect on the cells producing collagen and elastin to help tighten and lift the skin and improve skin quality to give it a more
youthful look. The results of Bio-remodelling treatments can last up to 6-9 months, however, this may vary by patient and depends on skin type and age.
What is involved?
The treatment involves placing the product under the skin using a fine needle at points which are chosen to ensure safety and maximise the lifting action of the product. Bio-remodeller spreads evenly throughout the surrounding tissues to hydrate and stimulate the collagen and elastin production. For a result, you are required to have 2 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. After a 6 to 9-month period or when you begin to see the treatment’s effects wearing away, that you can top up treatments if you wish to.

It is commonly used on the face, neck, decolletage, knees and hands.

How many treatments are required?
For the building phase, we will perform 2-3 treatments, 1 month apart. 80% of patients are happy with 2 treatments and 20% “need”/want a third. The maintenance phase is 1 treatment every 3-6 months.

Can Bio-Remodeller Achieve This?
It is possible to achieve subtle volume replacement in treated areas; however, results depend on where you have lost volume and to what degree. The bio-modeller treatment uses hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance, and will not give you the volume replacement needed for concerns such as a cheek augmentation where your fat pads have significantly lost volume; instead, you may achieve this with other non-surgical aesthetic treatments, dermal fillers, for example.
Can Bio-Remodeller Help With Treating Skin Laxity?
Bio-remodeller remodels skin laxity and combats a crepe-like skin texture. This treatment is not a replacement for existing wrinkle injection treatments, however, can be used in combination with other injectables such as the Dermal Filler Treatment or as a stand-alone treatment. Bio-remodeller involves two treatment sessions where natural hyaluronic acid is injected into your skin to promote your dermal cells to produce collagen and elastin and result in a renewed ‘skin glow’.
Which Is Better Surgical Treatment or Bio-Remodeller?
Any non-surgical treatment is not a replacement for a surgical alternative. That is not to say that you won’t benefit from the bio-remodeller treatment, but you will not get the same results as you would with surgery. You may like to consider non-invasive aesthetic treatments following your surgical procedure to improve your skin laxity further and help to maintain your results.
Non-surgical treatments can be great alternatives for invasive surgical procedures, particularly if you do not require dramatic intervention or if you do not or cannot have surgical treatment. However, it is very important to remember that a non-surgical treatment will produce different, often more subtle, results than cosmetic surgery.
Is The Bio-Remodeller Treatment Safe?
Yes, Bio-remodeller has a good safety profile. This injectable anti-ageing treatment uses hyaluronic acid, it is very rare to get serious complications. Are There Side Effects To Bio-Remodeller?
Mild swelling and bruising are the most common potential side effects immediately following your treatment session.
Your practitioner will discuss any possible side effects, questions you may have about Bio-remodeller and any aftercare you should adhere to prior to you having treatment.
How Long Does Bio-Remodeller Last?
As with most treatments, this can vary depending on where you have been treated, how many treatments you have had, your lifestyle and your metabolic rate; these factors usually influence the longevity of your results. For example, in our experience, those who smoke or frequently do cardio work-outs can break down hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance produced and contained in your dermal cells, faster than those who do not.
The guidelines are to have maintenance treatments up to six months after your full treatment.
Does Bio-Remodeller Hurt?
The level of discomfort is usually found to be mild and tolerable by patients. The most common feedback we receive is that some Bio-remodeller injections can feel like small ‘stings’. We understand that each person’s tolerance to pain is different however and are happy to offer our patients additional local anaesthetic cream prior to the procedure should this be a concern of yours.

Usually a 2-part treatment process with 30 days between sessions. Your practitioner may recommend a 3-part process rather than a 2-part process upon assessment; this is usual in cases of more advanced skin ageing.

Recovery time
Very little evidence that procedure has taken place, skin is usually recovered within a few hours. As with all injectable treatment there is a risk of bruising at the site of injection.
Final results
Some changes can be noticed after 1st treatment however, best results will be seen after your second treatment. Maintenance can be approximately every 6 months.

Resume usual activities
Immediately for most activities. Avoid swimming for 48 hours and extreme temperatures for 7 days. Avoid massaging the area treated for 24 hours. Full aftercare will be provided prior to treatment.
